Senior Cost Controller
· BS Industrial Engineering
· At least 7 years experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified below:
o Establishes and implements short & long range organizational goals, strategic plans, policies and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
o Designs, establishes and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives; overseas recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of unit staff.
o Oversees the overall operations of unit(s) reporting to this position. Acts as negotiator between the company and vendors/suppliers on tendering contracts; keeps informed of all new developments relative to available resources, make recommendations designed to reduce costs, update systems and provide environmentally approved materials and services.
o Reviews major procurement contracts, coordinates contract compliance, change orders and problem resolution in conformance with contract law; consults with legal counsel as required.
o Directs and oversees the management of the company’s accounts payable activity, ensuring operational compliance with relevant company and state policies and regulations.
o Recommends and participates in the development of company policies and procedures, may serve on company planning and policy-making committees.
o Plans, develops and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the organization. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties assigned.
